Donnellson Public Library has been chosen to host World Book Night 2013! Our event will be Tuesday April 23rd from 6:00-7:00. Refreshments will be served and everyone who comes will get a chance to win a copy of "The House on Mango Street" by Sandra Cisneros.

The Friends of Donnellson Public Library will host a Lia Sophia Jewelry Party Saturday, Jan. 26, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. This year, choose what YOU want for Valentine's Day! There is a Valentine's Special: for every 2 Regular priced items, get up to 4 half-priced items!

The book club meets the third Monday of each month, at 7:00 p.m., in the genealogy room at the library this month's book is: The Paris Wife by Paula McLain.

Join us for an evening of music with Anti -Records artist, William Elliott Whitmore. A native of Lee County, Will's music speaks of hardship, heartache, the country life, and of the freedom of the individual. He has toured all over the world, and is currently signed with Anti Records. CD's and merchandise will be available for purchase from Will. The concert will be outside, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets. Beverages permitted will be only those purchased at the Green Acres Club House, and identification will be required. In the event of rain, we will move indoors to the restaurant area.

Fall Festival Book Sale (5th & Elm St., Donnellson, Iowa, from Sep 15, 2012 08:00 AM to Sep 15, 2012 03:30 PM)

The annual fundraising book sale will take place Sat. Sept. 15, from 8:00-3:30. The sale will be held in our building lot, right on Main Street! No sales will take place before 9:00 sharp. All books, DVD's, Videos, etc. will be available for a freewill donation to benefit the new library building, so be generous!
