Richard and Raymond

another new book about
Richard "Dick" Proenneke

      By Alan and Laurel Bennett

Thousands have been inspired by Dick's lifestyle, craftsmanship,
and wilderness skills, but few know as much about the man himself.
Dick touched many lives and left long-lastingimpressions.  Many
who knew him can vividly recall their first meeting.  They also
remember the hikes, canoe paddles, and overnight stays in his
cabin.  Reflections on a man in his wilderness is a collection of
memories, experiences, and stories by those who knew him during
the thirty years he lived at Twin Lakes in Southwest Alaska.  A
fitting tribute to Dick on the one hundredth anniversary of his birth.
$15.00 purchased at Library
